Visited 1.5.14 Directions: From Bolsover take the A632 east. When you reach Cuckney take the A616 north. The Barrow is easily seen from this road on the left (east) just north of the drive to Blue Barn Farm The fields surrounding the barrow had all been ploughed but thankfully the Barrow itself is surrounded by an old wooden fence to protect it. The barrow is covered in rough grass and scrub. Worth a quick look when driving along this road. E.H.state: A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated on level ground to the north of the River Poulter. The barrow survives as a 30m diameter circular mound standing up to 1m high’.
