If you look at the little white curved stone on the right, you will see its shape echoed in Needle Rock on Dinas Head in the distance, which this photo just shows. Robin Heath in Bluestone Magic makes this point, and he gives a closer photograph of the similarity. Now whether you take his point that in the Neolithic the midsummer sunset was aligned on Needle Rock (it is'nt now) is a matter of judgement....	Posted by moss 31st July 2011ce
