I can't think of anywhere finer to be at midsummer thesweetcheat, I can only imagine the fresh air and wild flowers ... though perhaps hot. I take the spirit of that truly magical place with me for those 'townie' moments. tjj Posted by tjj

Hi June,

Yes, there was a very small (just big enough) patch of shade directly under the centre stone, where I had my sarnies.

Nice to have it to myself though, that's a rarity in summer.
