Hi Stu,

I was interested to see your photo of the Highlow Bank Stone. I found a fairly similar stone on High Bank Lane, near Penistone. I've been looking for information on this for ages but haven't found a dickie-bird. See what you think...

Hey up,

Very similar looking.....
Its not an area I'm that familiar with tho....have you got an approx. map reference for it?
The one on Highlow Bank apart from having been used as a parish boundary stone has also been used by a landowner, 'WB' is carved on it and there are many intialled stones along the wall across the moor although more modern than the re-used standing stone.
