More Barrow damage

The barrows on Overton hill (Near the Sanctuary) have been badly damaged by burning. The dead wood from the tree's has been used to light repeated fires ontop of one of the barrows and has badly damaged it.
NT are investigating and considering what to do about it.
Fence it off? Place a Moveable Museum over it? Flatten it?
There goes part of our heritage, again....

How many ways are there to trash prehistoric monuments? The list seems to grow.

There's blighters up my way who are setting fires which could trash stuff too.

Pete, are the Overton Hill barrows the ones listed on TMA as Seorfon Barrows/Seven Barrow Hill?

Is this simply a case of 'cheap cider and gold label' moron induced activity or something more sinister???..have the local satanists taken claim to the barrow??, maybe the fires were intended to warm the deceased and raise their spirits??.
