Archaeological 'Field Operations' at Silbury Hill were 'directed' for English Heritage by Fachtna McAvoy from 2000 until the 15th June 2007, and thereafter by Mr Jim Leary.

Thanks for that Fachtna .. 'twas a sodden summer around Silbury that year. Rain! It never stopped.

Jim Leary opened his talk last Saturday by stating he was not there to answer questions about what English Heritage may be perceived to have got wrong or right and no one asked those sort of questions.
