I do realise that my persistence with this topic may be portrayed as being self-indulgent, obsessive and opportunistic but I feel that I have good cause to continue.
I think that it is important to present information that will allow people to make their own judgements on the decency, integrity and truthfulness of English Heritage and of course on my own actions, capabilities and behaviour.

I'm very much an outsider looking in where all this is concerned; I remember the rain - scary stuff, it started in May 2007 and didn't seem to stop all summer. I live locally(ish) and followed with great interest the progress of the restoration work. I cannot help but think the unusually severe weather conditions had a bearing on the work undertaken that summer.
At the moment I can only access the 'home page' on your site (or rather there is no text in the other links). I can't speak for others here but I would very much like to hear your story; in any walk of life professional and personal integrity is a valuable asset, an organisation or individual willing to damage it, without good reason, is guilty of theft.
