Hey up,

Cresswell Crags is opening up the Church Hole Cave again between 28th August - 12th September.
£6.00 for the Church Hole visit alone....£7.50 and you get the tour around the other caves thrown in..
Definitely best to book in advance......and not to be missed.

Thanks very much for telling me about that, stu. It's not mentioned on their website yet.

I've phoned and booked up this morning.

I think you and I are the only two on here who went the last time Church Hole Cave was openned up. More cave art has been discovered since and I'm told we should be able to see some of the newer discoveries.

Seeing the cave art at Creswell Crags ranks amongst the best experiences I've had at a prehistoric site in Britain and I urge all of you who can get there to GO AND SEE IT !

I just wanted to say a big thank you for posting this. we booked tickets and went to the crags on sunday. Fantastic, and I wouldn't have known unless stubob had posted.
