Thanks for that - will be interesting to see how it actually works out. Although it will probably be easier to reach West Kennett now, I'll miss that kind of ritual slog up the narrow track. That in itself was very spiritual.

Progress, eh? Well, I suppose it is if the birds and plants can re-establish themselves . . .
