Not 100% certain, but I think Great Orme is in Conwy rather than Gwynedd? The Coflein records for the various sites show Conwy, eg:

I could post some film that's got Conway in it - but it's a bit frightening ...

Yes it is definately Conwy. Gwynedd starts at Llanfairfechan along that coastline.

I think I've spotted the problem, it's a pre / post 1996 thing when the boundaries changed again. It would have been in Gwynedd before 1996. To confuse matters the names / jurisdictions of various organisations don't always match now. For example your link
http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/99532/links/pen_y_dinas.html
shows it's seemingly looked after by the Gwynedd Archaeological Trust.

I'll look into moving it. I think there might be others.

Thanks thesweetcheat,
TMA Ed.

Nah. Conwy was always in the ancient kingdom of Gwynedd. Always will be as far as I'm concerned.... that's why they changed it back from Caernarvonshire... wish they would stop fiddling with the bloody maps to make political points. It'll be back in Gwynedd in a few years.
