Farmer — Nine Stones Close

Visited this site yesterday only to find that the farmer had parked a huge tractor trailer right in the middle of the stones almost as if to say 'even if you get here you are not going to have a pleasant experience or a photo '

Is there a known issue with this farmer or was I just unlucky.

Someone posted a pic of that on the peak district prehistory group not that long ago. Seems to be a permanent home. :(

Have heard back. The farmer is waiting for dry ground to move the trailer to avoid any damage in removal. He's also pretty annoyed due to people leaving gates open and livestock getting mixed or loose.

I can't be the first TMA-er to visit this site since the original post back in March about the trailer but just to say I was there this morning and it's gone so thanks (a) for alerting me back then and saving what would have been a spoiled visit and (b) for getting on to the authorities re its removal.
