No it seems that the f***wits who painted the Homer next to the Cerne Abbas Giant used a water-based paint......forgetting that these days cars are painted with such paints and that, once dry, they are permanent.
Just to re-cap: those in the media are far too stupid, in terms of our ancient heritage, to be allowed near such sites. They don't understand them and have too much MONEY, combined with too little respect and sense, to be allowed the leeway they seem to be given on or near such sites.
Lesson learned? Probably not.
