I've got a lot of sympathy for people who have problems seeing their children. My colleague at work has been put through the mill by his ex wife, and now he's having ludicrous amounts of his salary removed by the csa on her say-so etc etc. So I can see how people are driven to climbing up on Clifton suspension bridge and so on. But how is painting Glastonbury tor tower getting any positive support? Why not go and paint the csa buildings or stand outside the houses of parliament or I don't know. Rather than vandalising something that's got nothing to do wth your cause. It just seems a shame when it had only just been restored.I don't think I'd look that favourably on my estranged father if I knew he'd been daubing graffiti on ancient monuments. I dunno.

I don't have much time for F4J, but to be fair, every group has "sympathisers" who do stupid things.

I have no sympathy for people who rub their personal grievances in the faces of other people who have nothing to do with it.

This is vandalism, pure and simple. It doesn't serve the 'Fathers for Justice' cause at all... it actually will hurt that cause.

It's not quite the same thing, of course, but whoever did it is cousin to the people who blow up innocents on a bus as a means of airing their political grievances.

... Incidentally, there are, no doubt, good men who've been screwed over by spouses who fabricate child abuse claims and so on... but meethinks at least some of these guys doth complain too loudly as well.. the ones who claim to have been unjustly removed from their children who sport an aura of extreme menace and hostility... constantly spewing vitriol about 'single mothers'... being really misogynistic and rabid...

I suppose we could contact F4J and make the point to them.

I am in total agreement to the cause of F4J, in principle, infact having been both an 'absent father' and 'single parent' I have seen both sides of the coin.
However, I and (I imagine) everybody else will not support the vandalism of any of our Heritage sites.
If than can not think up anymore harmless pranks to gain publicity then they should cease to be.
F4J must distance themselves from this act immediately and those responsible be strung up by the smaller of their two crown jewels!!

Quoted with permission from another forum:

"Perhaps anyone distressed by this might like to send an email to
[email protected]
telling them exactly why this wasn't a good idea...

Its also possible to contribute a review for this book on Amazon, and to contact Amazon directly to urge them to take the book off sale:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/email
Click on 'Express' and then 'My question is not related to an order'.
There is a freephone number to call too:0800 279 6620
Suggesting that you won't buy anything from them while they continue to sell this book might concentrate their minds.

Anyone feel like organising a Boycott Amazon campaign?"

All the critical reviews of Family Court Hell have been removed rom Amazon.

Not that I'm in favour of it, but under what Act are FoJ being prosecuted for "unlawfully climbing an ancient monument" at Stonehenge?

Yeah, these dads are showing themselves up big style.
Spesh the ones who are fighting for equal parenting rights and spend their time vandalising things and causing public danger.Thats not the kind of person you want to trust with your kids!
