Leafing quickly through a borrowed copy of the Times this morning I came across a very brief article describing a "submerged village and stone circle". Apparently it was discovered during a dry spell but after heavy rain has been covered by water again.
Sorry about the lack of details but it was a speed read. Is this old news? (Or new?)
Jim.
This is what I found this morning in 'The Metro' but could'nt find any other news, sounds interesting but could'nt find the location; though Fernworthy is near a reservoir.....

Thanks Moss, that was the gist of the article in The Times. Pretty terse isn't it!
Jim.

Hopefully the burial mounds weren't sacked. Very interesting news.

There is definitely a village below Fernworthy Reservoir as I have seen it in the past when it has been very dry , not this year then ,but I have not heard anything about a stone circle.

Peace , Lubin.
