Hi,

I am an archaeology student at the University of Bristol and I am currently working on a couple of issues to do with the Avebury WHS. I am researching whether or not World Heritage status actually protects and preserves the monuments in the Avebury WHS, and also attempting to compose a management plan (with my agenda!).

I am having discussions with the 'stakeholders' but I am interested in the views of as many interested parties as possible. So please feel to rant!!

If you're composing a Management Plan with your own agenda you might like to consider putting as Clause 1(a) -

The aims and aspirations of this Management Plan and the advice of the professionals committed to uphold it shouldn't be ignored by local planning committees. Ever. Else there's no point in having a bleeding Plan at all.
