I've followed the discussion initiated by VBB on another thread (thanks for bringing it to our attention) and am alarmed that the National Trust who are, as VBB pointed out, meant to be protecting Avebury are prepared to turn it into a theme park for the purpose of generating income. They already make loads of money from the carpark, cafe, shop, museum and from general membership subscriptions.

Does anyone know how to go about setting up a Facebook petition (or any on-line petition) because I think this warrants one.
