Yes it's close to the solstice orientation but it's in the morning and even if the sky is clear it might be a bit bright , the start should be in darkness though . The Burnt Edge stone row, in Smithills, Bolton, would be a good site - there are two flattened mounds that should frame it. It might be possible to get an idea of the scale of the event the previous morning, similar time of day, an hour earlier though. It'll be very cold but a once in a lifetime thing ...
