I'v just uploaded an interesting overlay of the constellation draco over a 30's map of the area around and including Scholes Coppice. There are several points that match including smaller areas of Ancient Woodland on the map which are strikingly close to the mid stars of the constellation. If it was built as a representation of the stars above as was the Glastonbury zodiac, it has survived remarkably well through time dont you think?

I do agree with comments made in the discussions of 2004 that any earthwork or henge would be utilised by the people around it.
