"In the Shadow of Bennachie: a field archaeology of Donside, Aberdeenshire.

The culmination of twelve years of fieldwork and research, the richly illustrated volume uncovers Donside's remarkable past and the way it has shaped the modern landscape. "

This hopefully means that the subsequent volume purely on the RSC's won't be too far behind.....

I wonder if Santa will put this in his sack for me?

"a field archaeology of Donside, Aberdeenshire"

Does that make sense? what is "a field archaeology"? What does one look like? What does it smell like? Surely the 'a' is superfluous.

Book looks interesting though. Thanks for the heads-up.

Howdo Chris,
is this book definitely a go-er?
While we're on, I'm up in Tullos next week on a course. Are the cairns up there worth a look?
