Did you go on the ferry from Thurso past the Old Man of Hoy? I loved that.

Orkney is amazing.

You Twatt!

Thank you for the postcard, Big Lovely Man. xxx

PS Can we come with you next time please?

Orkney blew my mind and I hope it never comes back. OK, so we lucked out on the weather which I know made a difference, but what an amazing place. Staggeringly beautiful, Orkney has stolen my heart and I know things will never quite be the same again now that I have been there. It is the missing piece of the puzzle, even if I don't know what the picture on the box is supposed to be.

I will be back there again!

OK, so not rude as such, but many years ago when moving from Nova Scotia to Vancouver we deliberately drove to Turkey City, PA, only because it was near a place called Turnip Hole, just off Interstate 80 and very near to Licking Township and Beaver Township [all true, I swear].

Not long after that we ventured back into Canada and camped near to a place called Elbow, Manitoba, which was just along the road from Eyebrow, Manitoba.
