Someone has chosen this as their specialist subject on Mastermind tonight (8pm BBC2)

Should be worth a look, just to see how clever we all are (or aren't, as the case may be!)

Aren't in my case, I got about five right plus a few guesses - contestant did well, scored 15. Did learn a few facts though (if I can retain them).

Couldn't get a sodding answer out before he did! Only managed 5 correct. He was pretty good, as they all were on their specialist subjects.
The woman who won was pretty bastard quick on her general knowledge too.
I've no chance, me.

Magnus Magnusson would have been in his element on this episode, wouldn't he? He's written a few historical - a couple specifically Scottish - books in his time:
