I took an archaeo student from Bristiol to see Silbaby today and was stunned to find another load of flytipping has taken place. I estimate roughly 30+ tons of hardcore and several van loads of topsoil.
It has totaly changed the profile of one side of the mound.

shows the top. Everything on the left between me and the person in the background is new!
It has pushed over at least 4 large trees as it spilled over the edge!
Time for HA to reconsider this as a campaign?

Is there a stream nearby? could,nt it be an environmental problem as well?

is it likely that there is any asbestos in the tipped crap? if so, council are likely to take a bit more interest in it
