How could we not? He's such a fine chap.

fast forward 6yrs or so....
"Awww Dad! Not another old well...."

Big luurve to all 3 in the house of Goff :)

Congrats to all three of you :)

Our little girl is 8 weeks so it's all still fresh in my head, and all the knowing words we heard about 'it's all going to change for you now!' ;) With 8 weeks done I can look back wistfully at that naive sense of being 'prepared' that I had before she arrived and chuckle that kind of chuckle old people use while listening to a child detailing what Santa is going to bring them. Yes, a whole different ball game indeed, enjoy every minute of it!

Congratulations. Long life and happiness to Michael.

Hah! Yes! Quite right!

Well, as you can probably gather, we've been somewhat otherwise occupied... :D He's a week old now! Blimey.

Thank you all so much - your kind messages are very much appreciated. As are the sarcastic and amusing ones. ;o) Bastards.

We're all getting on fine - back home and getting used to each other! He's a right little wriggler... Can't wait to take him to his first megalithic site (how sad is that!) but already taken him to one of our local wells (how sad is that!) - he slept through it but he'll learn to love 'em. I'm sure. Ahem.

He's a cracker though! I'll get a pic or two of him on the site sometime. "For scale", obviously!

PS - he was 9lb 7 oz! That extra half a pound makes all the difference, you know - ooyah!

i havent read all the threads so this may have been said before, but i just cant resist it
