I thought this worth mentioning despite the fact it might be a load of bollocks ,for various reasons .. The possible alignment between the centres of Silbury -Silbaby (could do with a more accurate grid ref )-The Sanctuary has a more accurate competitor i.e. Silbury -Silbaby -Bitham Barrow .

Intrigued by Bitham Barrow, do you mean this one at Wedmore, which is not a longbarrow but a bank..

or Bitham which lies under the White Horse at Westbury, but has a longbarrow in the middle of Bratton Hill fort, which would be more logical...
