Stolen at Waylands

..my bag from the boot of the car :o(

On sunday evening some scum-bag broke into my car and stole my bag from the boot.
The car was parked at the cross roads on the ridge way,in the little lay-by.

The bag is a black and had my silver purse/diary/undeveloped films/phone/mini disc/bag of crystals and healing stones/pics of the kids/drivers licence and all the usual stuff inside.

Please could you all keep a look out for my bag and whats left of the contents when you visit Waylands.I would really love to have it back.
If you have any news you can contact me throught this board/next door or the Fluffy board.

Sorry to hear about your loss NOTD.

We were up there a couple of weeks ago and parked in the same place. I thought at the time how easy it would be for someone to nick stuff from there. There's so much 4x4 and motorbike traffic on the Ridgeway itself that the thief could have come from just about any direction.

Normally if you leave a fiver at Waylands you get your car Mot'd ;)

Very sorry to hear that,

I too had a break in - the same spot about 3 years ago and lost alot of stuff (they tried to steal the car too). I was left out of pocket and with a higher insurance premium as a result.

It is a VERY POPULAR spot for thieves - i know of many of my freinds who have had stuff stolen from that place. Don't just lock it away, take it with you.

I will certainly scout the area as I visit every week or so.
