A few of us went to Castlerigg in 1996 or 1997. It was excellant. The Police on duty actually directed you to the best place to park up etc. It was very well done, but that was a while ago. There were around 100-150 people there and we were lucky enought to have a perfect morning, with the sun rising over the side of Blencathra. It was a wonderfully warm day and we spent a large part of it swimming in Derwent Water.
