Hi,

I didn't find the following very, very useful link mentioned here in the forum and thought it might be helpful in locating and 'planing how to access' a certain site:

http://shop.osi.ie/Shop/MapViewer.aspx

This is far better than Google Earth, because you pan and zoom in the regular OS maps and after a certain zoom factor, the display switches to hi-res areal photos.

That is stupendously brilliant! Thanks for the tip-off, archaeology.ie is great for having the old maps and this is just sweet!

Thanks Nucleus, this is really rather excellent. I've been messin around with this for days. Hi-res maps of every site in Ireland!
