Just to say I am back from a weeks 'old stoning' in Ireland. And what a fab week we had. Visited lots of sites and will put fieldnotes on over the next week or so. It was my first visit to Ireland and found the countryside picturesque and the people warm and friendly. The only down side was the lack of road signs (minor roads) and the cost of everything!!
I would highly recommend a holiday to Ireland but make sure you take lots of money or you will do what we did and run out with two days to go!!
