Hi all,

Meath Co. Co. are sponsoring an exhibition of photographs I've
produced centred around Co. Meath, inside the chambers of Newgrange,
Knowth East and Dowth North as well as Carnbane East, West and
Patrickstown (Loughcrew) and other sites such as the rock art at
Mullagharoy and Kings Mountain. There will also be a small section
representing the rest of Irelands major megalithic monuments, stone
circles, rock art (Drumirril), portal tombs and court tombs. There
will only be one or two photographs from previous exhibitions, the
rest are all new images.

The opening night for this exhibition is the 23rd of August, at the
Toradh Gallery in Ashbourne (new civic offices and Library on the new
main street) at 7.30pm and contributours to TMA and
a guest are most welcome to attend.

Tom FourWinds, of whom some of you may be familiar, author of 'Monu-Mental About Prehistoric Dublin' and the genius behind
Ireland's megalithic on-line database at
megalithomania.com will be opening the exhibition.

The second exhibition focuses solely on Loughcrew and its surroundings
and will feature a sequence of photographs of the dawn equinox
alignment at Cairn T, this is being held at the Kraft Kaffee,
Oldcastle and the opening night is on the 30th August at 7.30pm, again
you and a guest are most welcome to attend this informal opening night.

Would be great to see some of you there for a chat about stones,
photography or anything else. Those of you for whom I have addresses
should recieve and invite in the post in the next day or so, but
please feel free to drop in on the nights in question.

Best of luck! Its bound to be stunning.

good for you - good luck. It'd be lovely to see your photos full size and in the flesh rather than squinting at a little screen.

don't say things like this though:
"the genius behind Ireland's megalithic on-line database at megalithomania.com"
It'll only go to his head.

Wow! Sounds fab. Wish we could be there.

Good luck!

Sadly, I'll be in Ireland a week too late. I'd love to see your photographs displayed in large format - absolutely stunning work.
