Received my copy of the latest Fourwind's book this morning having just paypal paid for it on Tuesday. What with xmas post, that's not a bad turnaround.

The new book follows the format of the first, handy, with the gazetteer taking up more than half the pages. I've been to a few of the sites already but this whets my appetite to head back down there soon.

On first glance, the author's speculation in the essay section about the Isles of Scilly gallery graves/Waterford undifferentiated passage tomb connection is interesting and bodes well for a fascinating few hours read.

Cool sounds good, I think I will hold off till after the xmas post. Looking forward to seeing it though. Especially since im only living a stones throw away from Waterford at the moment.

Thanks to all who have ordered it so far. I hope you enjoy it.

Good to hear that An Post are good for something* :-)

Got mine today. On top of all the sites, directions and theories [FourWind's books (and website) can be guaranteed to shine an unforgiving light on the dusty corners of yer own megalithic inertia] you get a perfectly minimalist author's signature.
What more could you ask for?

Wonderful work 4W! Looking forward to expanding my collection over the coming years...

Woo-hoo!! Just treated myself to an extra wee pressie there!

Keep 'em coming 4Winds - any chance of Mayo/Sligo soon????

Vx

Got mine next day as well, FW's must stick fake stamps on them and drive around the country at night popping them in letterboxes!

First impressions are very good indeed, the photos even seem sharper and have more 'depth'? Could be in my head of course. Can't wait to get 2 mins to myself to have a good read of it. Nice work FW's :)

I got the book today, I only ordered it yesterday so I had to have a quick look out the window to check their was an An-Post van and Fourwinds hadnt been hand delivering them!
It really looks great afte the first browse thru, I would it looks more impressive than the Dublin guide but this may be because Waterford has more impressive sites to show off.
Im actually now very excited about the Antrim one, coz i really dont have a clue what kinda sites are up there.
So only another 30 to go until we get Monu-mental about Prehistoric Ireland!

Nice one, 4W.

We are indeed.
