Hey ! I've found my first cup and ring stone. It's crap - but it's in Lancs (broken and built into a wall). I'm wondering what the archaeologists will try to describe it as !

Yeh the book works extremely well. The sketch maps are pretty accurate and the 10 figure OS references were blob-on.
The moor was looking beautiful in the low winter sunshine, it's new coat of knee high grass gave it a sort of Steppe vibe (or as RockRich put it " just like Little House on the Prairie").
