The image is misleading, though. My battery was low and I waited for the sun to touch the horizon - I got just three photographs. What I could see (and what is lost in dazzle in my picture) was a molten orange disc, like a burnished pendant, slowly slipping into the hill. I could look at it for a good while, anyway, without fecking up my eyes.
Maybe someone more skilled than me can photograph that kind of thing. Hey, I know that they can... I've seen it here often enough :)
