A great an unusual image - if we edit out the fence its easy to visualise people walking towards Stonehenge to greet the rising sun.
You have a good eye for unusual views of much photographed sites, sir! Always a pleasure to see these familiar sites from a different perspective. :)

I think it helps being able to view the landscape from the circle. It's such a shame that this perspective is missed by the vast majority of visitors. The whole landscape and site look and feel very different from within as it were.
This is true - we mostly get pics *of* the circle and not *from*... Regardless of that, it's beautifully framed and processed. :)

Yes, it's taken with Instagram, there were a lot of ancestors about!
I'm not sure if I made myself clear, I usually don't..
I was referring to the small 'orb' on the horizon near the barrow!
