Wow, I meant to come here years ago when we lived in York but never made it, partly because I thought the stones might be very difficult to find. How wrong was that?
When the heather grows back, I can see this circle disappearing from view. The stones are so small. The number used and the size of the circle felt just right for them though.
It looks brilliant, a wide-spaced ring.
