Lovely picture but is it (a) your use of a wide-angled lens or (b) my memory playing me false in thinking that it was a lot more hemmed in by fencing/trees/vegetation when I visited a couple of years back? Either way it's a belter, isn't it?
I had a Canon camera & an iPhone with me - I think this was an iPhone picture, so no wide angle,etc. It is fairly hemmed in, but maybe this mid-winter day helped widen things a bit. I definitely felt the circle was somehow 'reaching out' beyond the trees.
Yeah, it really was all I'd hoped it would be.
