Liking this site, not sure about the path. (It is well made tho)
It's one of the most popular places in the Peak District so the path is the price you pay for erosion control :)
I love the view back to Mam Tor from Lord's Seat
We had a lovely walk along the ridge eastwards, didn't get up Lord's Seat, saving it for another trip.
Did Lords Seat when icy and snowy...but cracking view and the snow picked out hidden details. Yup, put it on your bucket list. Not sure I've ever seen a pic of Mam Tor viewed from Kinder way, is on the same level as the N ramparts.
