I was at Avebury this morning for my Beltane visit and saw these chalkings on the Stones, can’t see any good purpose in it.

WHY do ppl let their kids mark OUR Stones. I see graffiti and carvings by idiots in these burial sites and it makes me so angry. Ppl today won't teach their kids that destroying these thousands of yr old monuments is criminal. Just goes to show how ignorant many of them are. Very sad.
