Northern Henge is the circle of trees, behind it are the lakes and workings of the current quarry at Nosterfield. In front the lakes left behind by quite recent quarrying shows just how close quarrying can get.
The area in the front of the henge was quarried in the sixties and seventies and none of the archaeology was recorded.
