Powerful silhouettes.

August 16th. Every stone is unique and this one just shouted to me that it was important and different in shape colour and texture.

August 16th. Clouds clarity & brightness provide a foil for the landscape and are echoed in the stone.

Castlerigg Aug 16: Clear forms and colour contrasts in this view. Tried to get a feeling of long-lasting relationships as well as more immediate ‘picturesque’ qualities.

August 16th. Visited this magical place for the first time last March at sunset, but camcorder images were small. Had to return quickly and get to know it better. Tried to focus on stone, landscape and light qualities despite the presence of many other people.
