There are a few things that intrigue me about this particular field:
a) It`s round
b) It`s on a slope, but...
c) The centre is higher than any part of the boundary
d) Most of the other fields in the area have dry-stone walls, this one hasn`t
Unfortunately, I didn`t notice any of this until I looked down on it from two miles away and as I live 100 miles away, it`s unlikely that I`ll be re-visiting Tyfos in the near future.
I`ve no idea as to what it could possibly have been. Has anyone else?
