Yeah... I made the same mistake once (approching the Swallowhead from the wrong side). How things change though - was on the new bridge leading up to West Kennet a couple of weeks ago and the Swallowhead Spring is now signposted!
Anyone know if the new path up to WK is permanent? (I kinda liked the old single-file track). Hope that if the new path is going to be permanent they have plans for hedge-planting because the walk up to WK and back is a bit bleak at present.
