Really interested to hear about the juxtaposition of swallets/tombs in Ireland - which tombs are they? Chris Tilley has written about the relationship between dolines and round barrows in Dorest. Back in Somerset, I have argued that the Priddy Circles are located exactly where they are because that area of Mendip has the highest concentration of swallets (apropriation of a "natural" ritual landscape etc etc).
