| I was planning to be there in July but due to a change in plans I'm now trying to organise a quick trip over in June. As flights seem to have taken an unexpected hike in price over the relevant dates(wonder why?) I'm going to drive and ferry, taking my car across. The plan is an early start Saturday 10th from Glasgow (n.b. CalMac don't sail to Lewis/Harris on Sundays [11th June is a sunday]) drive to connect with the last ferry on Saturday from Uig, Skye, to Tarbet, Harris. See some stones on the way. Spend Sunday and Monday sniffing around Harris and Lewis while hoping for a clear sky on both nights for the 'moondance' at Callanish, then return first ferry on Tuesday, to be back in Glasgow by teatime(ish).
