Hi Trish! You lucky, lucky things, I wanna come!

Only got the chance to do a whistle-stop tour of Kerry, and didn't do the 'Ring' (no jokes, no jokes!), but N/W of Dingle we saw the most amazing Inch Peninsula, where the famous beach scene in 'Ryan's Daughter'. The Atlantic blew my mind, if you get a chance do go to Slea Head, looking out over Blasket Sound, there are pinnacled islands in the sea, and the Brandon mountains further north, right on the coast, snow capped and awe-inspiring.

Sorry I can't say more, but really, Slea Head was one of the most beautifully vast and wild places I've ever visited, mystical, I see it as the gateway to Tir-na-Nog' in my dreams..(wibble)

:o)
