I mentioned a while back I was going to be in the area towards the
end of August. I was there on the 23/24 and could not see anything.
One was because of access the other was the awful weather, a lot of
the area was under water, considering all the rain that is no surprise.

I found that getting the location on Archeology.ie and then looking it
up on google earth you will get a good aerial view of the area, which
throws up a lot of ring forts and large enclosures.

Field walk only possible on a good day, and thats with the land dried out.
Sorry I could be of more help.

Thanks for having a look anyway, I was just putting it out there for a bit of debate really. Can be very quiet here at times, especially on Irish topics.
