It's an interesting theory, but would a lunar eclipse be as big a deal as a solar eclipse? It would assume a lunar rather than solar cult. The moon's a cool thing, I admit, but was it bigger than the sun?
Eclipses are buggers to work out due to Delta T etc .I have major problems (not standstills) with most lunar " alignments " .They work out theoretically but for a variety of reasons you don't even see them a lot of the time .Would they really be marked ? Good fun looking for them but the intentionality is questionable .
