They only found animal bones there though, right? Thinking of Caesar's reports on what happened to prisoners of war that were kept as slaves...

I was reading up on Arthur's Seat area and read slavery was allowed to continue in the salt workers and coal miners till 1799. At least the Celts had laws governing the treatment of slaves which allowed them to get free again.
