Up on the moors, cold, sunny and clouds scudding across an enormous panorama of dark brown heather. Background noise was the beautiful bubbling sound of the curlews, and also lapwings and skylarks. Before I get too lyrical we could only watch half of it, a perfect half dark moon, as we had to get to an appointment...
