Well, I for one am glad that many of the items were fakes. History is a bit foggy and up to interpretation but stone statues are pretty much a record of a time before OUR time. As far as burning Beatles albums most of latter stuff was Rubbish anyways and look at poor Sir Paul now strumming away with Rhianna and Kanye! Fucking silly old fart needs to retire. (no offense to sir paul fans just my caffeine induced ranting)

I suggest herbal tea for the rants ... just came across this CNN link about the ancient city of Babylon.
It's worth remembering that Islam is not that different to Christianity and there have been fanatical sects/groups of Christians in the past too. Two thousand years is just the blink of an eye really. Speaking as someone who was educated by nuns in a Catholic school I remember being taught as a child/teenager that you should be prepared to die for your faith. And that Catholicism was the one true faith, to question it was the road to hell. Ring any bells? Sadly, many Christians are actually dying for their faith in certain parts of the world today.

that may be true but jihad is altogether another thing then dying for your faith to my knowledge the catholic church does not train people to strap bombs to themselves and how to cause the most casualties as possible when detonating one's self.im just saying....

And I'm just saying you can't tar the whole of Islam with the Jihad brush without recalling some of the barbarities that have taken place under the banner of Christianity - albeit in the past. The Crusades (wasn't it the Cathars that had their eyes taken out as heretics?) and the Reformation in Britain when large numbers of people were being burnt at the stake as heretics by both sides. History has proved, and is still proving, that by and large religion is not a force for the advancement of the human race.

Didn't think I was ..
