Details of site on Pastscape

Bronze Age bowl barrow on a low hill in the King's Forest. The mound is roughly circular and stands 1.2m high and 32m in diameter. No apparent disturbance. Scheduled.

Visible on OS AP. (3)

A bowl barrow situated on level sandy soil covered by mature coppiced elms and surrounded by recently afforested land. It measures approximately 32.0 m in diameter and 1.6 m high with no visible ditch. The northern half of the mound has been truncated by ploughing but the top shows no signs of disturbance. Publishd 25" survey revised. (4)
This barrow was not located during field investigation of the area by OS Field Reviser. (5)
